Welcome Bill Deiss!

Welcome!
As of July 1, we have a new Assistant Principal joining our ranks - Bill Deiss!

Bill comes to us from Charlotte, N.C. where he has been an Assistant Principal, a Math teacher, and a Special Educator over the last ten years at East Mecklenburg High School.  He was instrumental in developing the Eagle Flight program there
(http://schools.cms.k12.nc.us/eastmecklenburgHS/Documents/eagleflight%20letter.pdf) and looks forward to supporting our 9th grade teams in their work this year.  Bill will also be joining the Math Steering Committee, and will work with the administrative team through supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, student management and other administrative duties.

"I am very excited that  I will be the next AP at U-32. The chance to be part of such a high functioning group of educators was too good to pass up. We have only been here 3 weeks and we know it was the right decision." - Bill Deiss.

Bill will be joined by his son Gavin and wife Martha. Gavin will be in the 11th grade.

Clearly Bill needs help decorating an office that is more appropriate for his work here in VT.  Let’s help Bill and Gavin transition from Eagles to Raiders!
